Home Scene 1744

Jean-Baptiste-Siméon Chardin (2 November 1699 – 6 December 1779)   A lovely domestic scene, you can almost listen in to the conversation.  The numerous details: pewterware, tin canister, redware bowl,  bottles, bowls, food, girls clothing, pudding cap, toy drum,  long handled pan, round metal brazier.   What is that hanging on the wall?
