Still Life with Ham

MAGINI, Carlo  (b. 1720, Fano, d. 1806, Fano)

Still life paintings are always interesting and this one has a number of curious things in it.  The copper pan is showing the tin lining and the crumpled paper “cork” and paper covering for the other bottle, also the interesting paper cartridge object on the lower left (hmmm I wonder what is in there?).  Detail:  brass candle stick, paper cartridge, copper fry pan, stoneware jug, onion, mallet bottle,  jar, meat, ham, fruit,  betty lamp
