    Very authentic looking cattle. The shepherdess, not so much.

    I love her distaff full of fiber and the fact that the spindle is a small double whorl one. You don’t see those often but they did/do exist. Great one to save for this spinner.

    my curiosity on the ‘distaff’, is this not drop spindle spinning? as I learned to do this before I got my spinning wheel. please explain the difference. Thank you~
