A Married Sailor’s Adieu – Ibbetson about 1800

If you have read and Aubrey and Maturin books this is a great scene right out of one of the books.  I have a little wood sailboat I built a few years ago and I have it rigged just like this little boat.

Detail: sailor, small boat, wherry, ship, sprit sail, children, sea chest, ladies’ clothes children’s clothes.
