Keeping with the bugs and food theme from the other day.

    Any guess what the material the lidded jug is made from? Is it carved or molded? The way the artist has captured the reflection makes me think of ivory or maybe a fine grain soapstone or other soft mineral. I think it’s a great piece.

    I love all the still lifes; there’s so much detail. And a sense of humor to include the bugs, as well the worm holes in the wood of the table.
